We have filled all of our Turkey and a Twenty volunteer vacancies for Thanksgiving-related opportunities. But we rely on volunteers year-round for help with our ongoing work to end hunger.
2009 is on track to become one of the more challenging years in recent times with an anticipated increased need for food of about thirty percent! The food industry continues to be our biggest supporter donating over 80% of all the food that Foodshare distributes.And as large a role as that is, there are those who look for and welcome additional ways to participate in our fight to end hunger.
